If you didn’t already have a reason to come to Hawaii, I present to you another, more valid reason to pack your bags. Wailua Bakery is one of the best stops you can make on the North Shore of Oahu.

Located in the historic town of Haleiwa, Wailua Bakery is a unique and extremely tasty place to visit while cruising the seven mile miracle. Everything on the menu is made from scratch right in front of your face.

They offer a huge variety of sandwiches all made with the freshest ingredients possible. Their bread is hand made on the spot along with cookies and other deliciously baked goods.

The smoothie menu puts any other juice place to shame. Every individual smoothie is made with fresh fruit and juice. Of course the acai smoothie is one of the favorites here but you can’t go wrong with any of them.

They offer vegan, vegetarian and the works on anything you want. Local favorites are the teriyaki chicken sandwich is so good it could be a dessert. Also the pesto roasted turkey sandwich is amazing. When I say roasted, I mean they roast it, not the grocery store. This place is legit.

The staff is amazing, taking orders and rolling dough with the biggest smiles in the world. They create and add the to great atmosphere you feel when you walk through the door at Wailua Bakery.
