KD NEWS

Great news everyone! We just got in a plethora of Channel Islands surfboards that are going to be up on the site (KillerDana.com) and in the stores (Dana Point, San Clemente) this week!

CI-boards

FLYER Model Description:
A worldwide favorite, this design excels in small to medium surf but still rides and responds like a conventional shortboard. Al considers this the best small wave shortboard he has ever designed. It should be ridden 2” to 3” shorter and 1/4” to 1/2” wider than your normal shortboard. We can build the Flyer up to 7’6” for you big guys.

(Also available in Tuflite Technology in select dimensions)

Feedback:
This year Tanner won his first WQS event on his 21st birthday on a 5’11 flyer.

Designed For:
Small to medium surf for all levels of surfers from beginner to expert.

MBM Model Description:
Originally developed with Bobby Martinez, the M-BM is now our most popular shortboard for advanced surfers. The M-BM has a full rail and plenty of volume in the nose and tail to make it user friendly Likes to be surfed vertical and in the pocket. Relatively flat under the front foot to a double concave/vee combo out the back.

(Also available as in a quad set-up with a round tail)

Who Should Ride This Board:
You want to ride what lots of the pros are riding.

Skill Level:
Intermediate – Pro: 5 – 10

Waist-high to Head and a half

Comments

  • Make sure you make clear the difference between the Flyer, Flyer II, and Flyer “F”.. all are different and the CI website doesn’t even mention it. I find it kind of strange..
